Atlantic Row 4 sense - the route

From La Gomera to Barbados

The route that will be rowed by Alan and Matt is the standard East – West route for the crossing of the Atlantic. They will depart from the port of La Gomera in Tenerife and will row the 3000 miles to Barbados in the Caribbean,

This route follows that of Christopher Columbus, sweeping down the coast of Africa and following the prevailing winds and currents across eastwards towards the Caribbean.
